ASIFA - Hollywood's Animation Educators Forums (AEF)
Along with other illustrious artists in the industry, Ken was invited to be a judge for this year’s ASIFA-Hollywood and Animation Educator’s Forum’s (AEF) Student Animation Festival. The yearly event provides an opportunity for students who are enrolled in accredited academic programs to be recognized for their work by the Hollywood animation community.

In addition to welcoming Duncan Studio as a presence on the convention floor, the organizers of this second-annual event invited Ken to participate in a panel discussion with several well-respected colleagues. Moderated by Bill Kroyer, the artists discussed the principles of what defines animation both within the animation community and in the animation award categories.

VES Awards 2010
Ken was nominated (along with his colleagues) for a Visual Effects Society (VES) Award for Outstanding Animation in an Animated Feature Motion Picture for his work on the Shane Acker-directed film, “9.”
